The Stitch feature is noticeably different from the other collaboration technique of dueting where users add to the content in unison, Stitching has been used by some of the creative stars of the platform to tell a whole story going back and forth, or for that meme goodness, TikTok is known for.

In this article, we’ll break down everything you need to know about how the feature works so you can get creating and collaborating with other users today.

How to Stich on TikTok

Firstly, if you’re wanting to Stitch back and forth with other creators, or have them use your content as a base then you’ll need to enable Stitching in your profile settings.

You can even change this setup on a case-to-case basis within the settings of your posts so you can choose which that users can Stitch to and the ones they can’t.

Once you’ve sorted that here’s how you can go about Stitching to other users’ content.

One thing worth noting is that if a user’s clip has the Stitch option faded out and unselectable it is because they haven’t enabled Stitching on that content and therefore you won’t be able to use this feature.
