An end of an era. Popular YouTuber Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg recently announced his temporary departure from the platform as he and his wife Marzia Kjellberg eagerly prepare for the next chapter in their lives. For context, Felix (whose decade-long YouTube career of uploading vlogs and gaming content, ultimately earned him 111 million subscribers and billions of views) and his wife of almost four years are expecting their first child.

Even though Felix has since retired from regularly posting gaming content on his channel and switched over to occasionally sharing vlogs to update his fans on what is going on in his life, when the news about the YouTuber’s decision to take a break began circulating on Twitter, many couldn’t contain their emotions.

One individual recalled past gaming videos of Felix screaming and claimed how happy they are to see him grow up and become a father.

At the same time, another Twitter user sent their best wishes to Felix and Marzia.

A third person explained that this break was overdue for Felix because, for so long, he has been “part of the reason” for everyone’s joy thanks to his light-hearted content.

Lastly, another social media user explained that although they expected Felix to take a break from YouTube because of the new changes in his life, they weren’t ready to say goodbye.
